Have you ever seen the world to shine in Technicolor hues,
In brightened tones of brightest orange to deepest vibrant blues?
Or seen the forest crowned in gold that rains at honey speed
Like snowflakes falling gently to protect the autumn's seed?
Then step into the sunlight and be wary not to blink
For the earth is full of colors that your mind could never think.
Have you ever heard the waves call out in language still unknown,
That synced up with your heartbeat and warmed both your blood and bone?
Have you seen the fairy-dust that rides the storm's sharp edge,
And heard the tumbling thunderbolts that dance on lightning's ledge?
Then step into the water, be it wave or be it rain
It's worth the soak, and soon enough, you will dry out again.
Have you ever stood atop a peak and seen the world below
Far off to the horizon that is bent just like a bow?
Or felt the air turn solid, on the fringe of dark December
While the sky is lit by fires as old as any can remember?
Then grab a coat, and do not night with wind so cold
The world's alive, and life goes on, and someday we'll be old.
